14.00-16.00
Sterts Studio, Upton Cross, PL14 5AZ
SHOW INFORMATION
We are looking for a cast of up to 20 performers. There will be no "principal" members and no "chorus" members, but rather an ensemble cast with everyone on stage most of the time. The show will consist of solos, duets, small group ensembles and full company numbers brought together through a common theme, but essentially presenting an eclectic mix of the Musical Theatre repertoire. We certainly hope to include a wide range, from lyrical ballads, traditional and contemporary musical theatre numbers, including both well-known and lesser known composers.

There will be 8 shows running from Wednesday 24th July to Saturday 31st August
Rehearsals are scheduled for Wednesdays 7-10pm at Coombe Valley Nursery, Callington.

The show is open to anyone from the age of 15.

AUDITION SESSIONS

There will be two audition sessions to limit the amount of waiting time for you:

Session 1 10.00-13.30
Session 2 14.00-16.00
YOU ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO TAKE PART IN ONE OF THE SESSIONS. Each session will begin with a welcome from the director and musical director followed by a vocal warm up. You will then be seen individually, where you will perform your two songs. You will then be free to go.

AUDITION MATERIAL
Below you will see 4 columns of songs. These songs have been chosen to reflect the variety of styles found in Musical Theatre and to accommodate different vocal ranges and are not necessarily going to be in the finished production.
You need to pick one song from both lists A and B so you will have two songs to sing in the audition. It is important to choose one from both lists. Please be aware that whilst it is important to come to the auditions as prepared as you can be, you may not be expected to sing the song in its entirety.
